Listen to your body. You say you dont feel up for it? Its because your body is telling you to rest. It needs to concentrate on the immune system right now not repairing muscle!0

General rules: Cold? Yes (but reduced volume). More sick (like flu, intestinal, etc.)? No. (And my gym is in my basement, so contaminating others isn't a concern. Not sure if that changes my answers though.)0

I have been fighting off congestion and cold symptoms for the past two weeks and kept up my running schedule through it all -- for some strange reason when I run my sinuses open up and I could breath freely for a while.
Running is THE BEST for congestion! That being said, I listen to my body and decide. If I feel really rotten, I will rest, or maybe just walk. But I always keep in mind that I usually feel better after I work out!0 -
I currently have a lung infection. I've been working out every single day.0

I have a simple rule of thumb...
When feeling yuckie (no fever) I get on the treadmill and start....
After 5 or 10 minutes if I feel good.... I keep going
If I feel worse -
I stop...0 -
If I feel bad generally working out will make me feel worse....I don't work out when I feel bad0
