My first NSV

I have been putting off buying new clothes because I am only half way through my weight loss, but yesterday I couldn't find any clothes that didn't look like I was wearing a sack. I went to go get new clothes today afraid that it was going to be the same terrible experience it usually is. Luckily, to my surprise, it wasn't. I found out that I had gone from an XL shirt to a medium, and a size 12 pants to a size 9 (had to shop in the junior's section because for some reason they only had skinny jeans in the women's). I found so many clothes that actually fit right that I ended up spending far more than I should have. This is the first time I ended my clothes shopping without feeling like crying in years.

I can't wait for this. I only had one pair of jeans that fit me. They're a little loose now, but I'm too terrified to even THINK of jeans shopping just yet. (It really is traumatic some days, isn't it?) I shop in junior's too (I'm really short and they don't hang over my feet quite as much as regular clothes) and have been really anticipating my jaunt back into regular sized junior's.....this is good motivation! Thank you for sharing!

Congratulations! I currently have only ONE pair of jeans that fit at all - size 10. All my others way too big (started at an 18). I was an eight at my best, and that's what I'm trying to get back to. So I really don't want to buy any until I reach my goal. I don't want to waste money!
