I FIT INTO MY FORMAL DRESS AGAIN!

I graduated school in 2008, and I thought I was fat then.... little did I know things would only get worse. I would drink, party, eat whatever I want and do little to zero exercise. I was unhealthy. I was unhappy. So depressed. I was lonely and I hated myself, which only made me feel more compelled to eat and do nothing. I went from being 75 kilos in high school to 98 kilos.
In 2010 I decided to make the change - I began duromine for a 'quick fix' and had good results - losing 10 kilos in a month, going from 98 to 88. I thought this was awesome, however I did not make any real lifestyle changes so when I finished with duromine although I was slightly more motivated, I continued once again to eat, and do nothing. This year in May, after regaining the weight back to 92 kilos. I decided this was it. This is when I do this for real. I changed my lifestyle completely. I changed the way I look at food, the way I feel about exercise. If I had not done this, I would still be miserable.
I am now 80 kilos, and more muscular then I was in high school. I still have some way to go, but I could not actually believe I fit back into my formal dress. It is an amazing feeling that inspires me to go further. I can see in my eyes in this photo how miserable I was, and it reminds me of all the times I used to sit around by myself and cry. Now I can see that life is amazing, meant to be lived to the fullest, I have an amazing boyfriend whom I love very much and I feel like a brand new person.
I want to pass on to everyone out there - that it is worth continuing, it doesn't get easier, you just get stronger - but never. never give up.

Congrats! My story is very similar to yours. I graduated in 2009 and had many struggles after high school with maintaining my weight. I am very close to my high school weight again! I should pull out my formal dress! :drinker: Well done to you, you look fantastic and I love your dress.0
