BMR and eating back calories--please help!

Okay, this might have been asked like a million times and I'm sorry for that. I just need a yes or no pretty much!
My BMR is 1,508.
If I eat 1500ish calories everyday, and burn about 200-300, I would net about 1,200-1,300 calories per day.
Would this put me into a 'starvation' mode because I am below my BMR? I always thought to NOT go under 1,200... not my BMR.
I don't think 'exercise to eat more' but I definitely don't want to starve my body.
Thanks in advance!
