Weigh in evening for contest

Thursday I have to weigh in a for a contest that I have been doing for the past 8 weeks. My weigh in time is set for 4:45p.m. I am down about 8-10 lbs since it started, which is a good feeling. I usually weigh myself in the a.m. occasionally I will set on the scale in the evening as well just to see how much it has moved and it is always up 1-3 lbs. My question is to try and keep the scale down for the evening weigh in...what or how much would you eat thru out the day? It would just be for the one day. Just looking for some feed back, not negative comments. Thanks in advance.
