Exercise + College = HELP!

I really want to get back into an exercise routine, but I feel like I can barely find time for it! Between homework and projects and exams and studying and work all I want to do is sleep!
Right now, I go out for an hour long walk/run 2-3 times a week, but I def wanna hear your ideas!
My school does have a gym, but I carpool with people to my school who's schedules don't allow me to stay extra to use it (and school is 45min away!)
Ideas?!

Try a DVD like 30DS. It only takes 25 minutes.0

Keep doing your run walk, gradually increasing the running part and decreasing the walking part. An hour run three times a week will do wonders.0

if you are on a decent size campus and time permits, try taking a long route to get to your classes, any little bit helps :happy:0

Read your notes onto your ipod/phone, listen while you walk. Extreme multi-tasking. Haha.0

I would second at home DVD's such as 30DS, Ripped in 30, Insanity etc.
That way you know how long everything is for and can then just work it around your schedule. That's what I do in between school, work and mummy time.0 -
I'm a full time student, working a full time placement, with exams and am Mum to 3 young boys. I manage to exercise 5-6 times per week. If you want to do it, you'll find time.
All you gotta do is move!0 -
Ah I hate to be difficult here, but you're in college and that whole work thing is going to keep you pretty occupied in the future. Stop complaining and get moving!0

It's only going to get harder! I took fitness classes in college. They were only 1 credit and didn't count for much toward my end academic goal, but they kept me moving and were cheaper than a gym.
Oh! And I walked everywhere. We had a very hilly campus, so it helped!0 -
As someone already pointed out, if you want it you will make time for it.
Get up a bit earlier and go for a walk/run before getting ready for the day. Get a exercise DVD to do at home. You can even find a ton of exercise videos and information online that you can use for free. You can get something like a stationary bike relatively inexpensive if you don't want anything too fabulous. I got a basic model when I went to college and used it while reading my notes and my text books in the evening. Seven years later I still use the thing that only cost me $90 while I"m reading or watching TV. It's a great investment if you have the little bit of space to put it.
I find the more regular I am with exercise the better I sleep which may help you not feel so tired all the time.0 -

Good for you, you must have an incredible amount of energy.0 -
Hey, grad student here. I get up around 6 am to run. I pretend that it's a class I have to go to. Really, just plan your day to include some exercise like you would a class. You probably have breaks in between classes so do a workout then.
Also, am I correct in assuming that it's finals time? I think I'll get some flak for this but if it is for you, you might want to think about starting a new workout plan (I don't mean don't exercise I mean what you're doing is good for now) after finals are over to make sure that you aren't tired when you take your exams.0 -
I agree with what jo_marnes said.. If you want to do it, you'll find time! I'm a full-time college student too and for me,
running is usually the much welcomed break from studying/classes etc. I don't necessarily recommend it,
but on super busy days I sometimes skip classes I don't HAVE to go to if there is absolutely no other way that I can
exercise that day. You can do it!0
