Yesterday I went running. I was kind of stiff and not "feeling it" before I left home (I run at a park about 15 minutes away). But, I went anyway. I told my husband I should do a long run, so might be gone a while, but that I probably would be back early if my legs wouldn't hear of it.

And then I started running.

And kept running.

I stopped at the 2 hour mark.

Not including warm up and cool down walks, I went 9.32 miles.

Wow.

    That's great. Looks like you are past the running injuries you were having earlier. Those 2hr sessions are where you get the biggest payoff for aerobic capacity building.

    Nice run; 2 hrs is also a huge mental barrier to break.

    Yes, one visit to a Dr and he fixed me LOL. I have some stretches I do sporadically that he gave me but in general I'm fine. I did switch to the Galloway method so that helps a lot too. I run 3 minutes, walk 1 minute.
