Leg...not injury, but leg weakness..help?

Okay, I almost feel silly making this post because I don't hurt. My legs don't hurt. I ran on Wednesday last week, 3 miles no problem. On Friday I went to go for a long run and found my legs just...felt too weak. I had planned to run 7, but I could barely eke out 2 miles because my legs just felt /so/ weak. I could feel and hear that my form was off because of it - I was pounding my feet but couldn't correct it. I kind of decided it was a bad run and just wasn't meant to be that night, but the weak feeling has persisted to the point where I didn't run at all this weekend either.
The only thing that's changed was that I ran on a treadmill last week where I usually run outside - other than that my routine has been the same (with the exception of trying out an exercise bike for 25 minutes on Wednesday...probably not going to do that again, it wasn't much fun). Diet etc is mostly the same. But my legs - specifically my quads - just feel tired and weak...so I'm not sure if I should be running or not.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It's crossed my mind that I might just be being overly dramatic, but I'm afraid this is like a ... pre-injury stage or something.

It could be any number of things so if you think its serious go to a doctor. That said, I've had plenty of days where I just wasn't feeling it, or something just hurt for whatever reason, on a run or at the gym. Those aches and pains seem to be on the increase as I age. Take a day off then go back and see where things are.0

That's kind of why I almost feel like I'm being overly dramatic...there's no pain, just if anything it just feels...really, really tired? I feel so silly complaining about tired legs, heh. I've been running since the end of July and while my legs have gotten tired /during/ runs the feeling has never persisted before.0

yeah, they are really tired. Try upping your nutrients, and rest a day or two and do yoga or something. Drink lots of water too.0

If it's primarily your quads, then it's from being on the bike. You might not feel it right away when you get off the bike (though try walking up a flight of stairs and you might!), but the quads do a lot of work. Back when I could run, I was also biking (and climbing a lot of stairs!) and it's amazing how differently they can affect the same muscle groups after a particularly hard workout.
I know exactly what you mean for your legs to feel weak but not sore: I'm having the same problem on the 30DS going from the squats to jumping jacks. It's like all of a sudden I just can't maintain proper form, but then in a little while I'm fine again. You probably biked hard and were trying to run harder without enough of a break. I would say run through it if -- and only if -- you can maintain proper form, otherwise walk it off over a few days and you'll be fine.
Wait, did I finally know something you didn't?0 -
It's completely my quads, April - they've been super tired! I felt fine the day of the bike ride and the day after - it wasn't until I went to run Friday evening that I found I just /couldn't/ and then I realized just how "tired" they felt - I cut that run because I couldn't maintain good form. Wow, that 25 minute bike ride was so useless lol - barely any cal burn, I wasn't even winded! But that makes sense and it was one of only two changes I made. I was all ready to blame the treadmill!0
