Workout for that Time of the month ?

Hey everyone,
I'm being faced with a little problem here, and I'm sure someone has a solution.
You see, my period really hurts, and it's a whole week during which I can barely walk, either because it hurts too much and any movement doubles the pain, or because the medication I take has me completely stoned... So, does anyone have something, a workout exercise, that would make me burn calories, and that could alleviate the pain, even just a little bit ?

In my experiece, and given advice from my former cross country coach, any aerobic exercise will help with the pain... as it's the contractions of the uterus. I would try walking briskly. I usually push through it and run, but, mine aren't that painful usually. In your case I'd take a pain killer and walk briskly.

Period pains are similar to mild contractions when in labour. When I was in labour walking helped so maybe walking would help with your period pains?

Honestly I just stick with my regular workout. Back when I was a stocker, I didn't get the week off because that time of the month rolled around, I still had to put up the same case count numbers as everyone else. So, even though it really sucks, I still did my 6 mile long walk as I'd planned and all my regular walks. Though, it was comfortable once I got started, I found myself wishing I wasn't quite that far from a bathroom, next time I'll just redo the 2 mile loop a few times so that I'm closer to a bathroom.
