Introduction

Hi all
Having read through some of the posts, in here and got some inspiration, I taught I would share my own reasons for using the site. Maybe I’m not in the same class as some of you all and don’t have the inspirational story, but I taught I would post anyway.
From Dublin, Ireland, been interested in keeping fit from some time now, always try to stay active. Have been involved a lot in mountain biking and cycling in general, but never could lose a lot of weight, (but never really looked at my diet). Started to take up running a while back, really enjoy it, after initial weight loss, it all seemed to slow down. If I’m been honest never really took much notice of my diet. Completed in a number of running events this year from 5mile, 10mile, half marathon and full marathon too, but still stayed in and around the same weight (175cm and 90kg)( I know….I was surprised too). So decide to use this to try keep track of my diet, in an effort to try get some better times in the same events next year, and try to down to low 80’s in weight.
Must say using it for 2 weeks now and it has really opened my eyes to what I eat, I find the exercise part ok, but my diet needs some attention.
