I am thinking about buying one for myself. Does any have one they like or dislike ? I can't decide which one to get although I know it won't be an I-Pad as they are too expensive for me.

Have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and love it. My husband uses it for work, I use it for play, and my 3 year old watches movies and plays games on it. So far so good. Amazing battery life and you can pick up a factory refurbished one for $250 from Wal Mart.

  • Is it true that you can only open one window at a time on the galaxy tab?

    I have (all Android)

    Galaxy 7 - great
    Galaxy 10.1 - awesome
    Acer Iconia 200 - awesome
Kindle Fire - great but it doesn't have the Google Play Store so I would avoid it. It has very few of the apps available because of this unless you know how to be really technical with it.
    Nexus 7 - awesome

I have an iPad and an Galaxy Player (think iPod, but it's Android powered). I much prefer the Android OS. Nothing wrong with the iPad, but I prefer the Android OS.

They are within a couple hundred bucks. For the value - I would tell anyone who doesn't have a lot to spend, get the Nexus 7. It is awesome and cheap and has the Play Store so you can get any Android app.

I have the ipad 4. Gave my wife my ipad 3. I did this because I foolishly bought my first ipad with only 16 gigs. It is expensive, and it does have some serious drawbacks. But, for someone like me, who needs things simple, I love it. But, it is expensive, and if you do not need things simple, go for android. You pick up amazon prime membership and you are good to go.

I got the Kindle Fire for my husband as Bday present. I didn't know about Galaxy 10.1 until recently and I wish I did but He is happy with the Fire HD.
