Sooo I know detoxing is not any kind of long term solution for weight loss. I am dieting and excersising. But I want a "diet tea" with natural ingredients because I am having some digestion issues and I have heard so much about how detoxes will "clean" out your system.

I heard they can actually help you get rid of some of that bulge, and help with some of the cravings. Any suggestions or thoughts????

I don't know how well they WORK, but I love having my "detox" tea... I drink it hot... it has all natural ingredients... I like it just for tea...but it does say "Detox" on the label...
Here is a bump... I'm sure you'll get some good info....

I tried a tea once...my tummy was really wonked. I remember I was taking public transit at the time and I had to stop at random stops to use the bathroom.

That said, everyone is different...I'd just plan on being close to a bathroom for the first day or two that you try it, JUST INCASE ;)

the "detox tea" that I tried had senna in it. I wasn't really drinking it for the purpose of "detoxing" anything, I was just hoping to get things moving, if you get my drift.

All it did was give me horrible stomach cramps with no other "results."

I prefer not to take pills in general if there is a natural way to achieve the same results. But as far as these teas go, I think I'm just going to stick with my fiber pills if things aren't regular.

I don't know much about detox-ing, but I do know that my husband has looked into countless types, and most have been not really helpful unless you use it in a solid lifestyle change. The best detox is to see a Dr. They can recommend different methods that they have a patient use whom is getting ready for a surgery. Good Luck!

Bump for more replies! Maybe they can be more helpful!
