I need a good kick in the butt for getting motivated again,?

Ok. i need some good advice/motivation for getting back on track. over the summer i had lost about 25 pounds, and looked amazing. then i had my thyroid removed, and started to gain some weight, so i got discouraged,. and stopped my dieting and exercising. now i've gained back all the weight i had lost, plus a little more. i'm feeling very down and low. i need a good kick in the butt for getting back to my dieting and staying focused. i really want to lose this weight again. i'm very determined. and i think today is the day, i can finally stick with it. i'm hopeful that losing weight will still be possible with my thyroid issues. i have started synthroid for my thyroid. so hopefully my hormone levels will get back into normal range soon making losing the weight easier. but i can't sit on my butt one more day and just watch myself get fatter. any words of comfort? thanks every one.
