As I drove down the street from my house heading toward the expressway I saw a woman, possibly thirties, maybe older. Wearing Running shoes, sweat shorts and shirt, small runners jacket, heart monitor watch, and headphones. I saw her bent over, hands on her knees, shaking. Her arms, her knees, her back, all shaking, looking like she might puke. I pulled over to make sure she was alright. ”Ma'am, are you ok? Need any help?”, she told me that she was fine, a bit thirsty, she forgot her water at home and is almost at publix to get a bottle. But I didn't think she could make two blocks, so I offered her a ride. No no no she said, I can't stop moving now she expressed to me. I still felt like I could help, so I offered her some apple juice I had just bought. She accepted only because I hadn't cracked the seal yet, didn't put her lips to it and took a little, I guess enough to make it those two blocks.
I said good bye, she thank me for my kindness,.I drove off towork and started hating myself.
What happened to me, two months ago I wouldn't have thought she was going to far,.I would have thought ” go her, doing a great work out”, because I USE to go through that. Started thinking how I let myself go, crying in my car hating myself, thinking thoughts I do not wish to share here, all because I had given up on myself......
Well not anymore, I am a man of faith, and with all the crap I've been dealing with lately, I felt as if that was a sign a message a word from above telling me WAKE UP,.don't let the image of a woman tired from a good jog hurt you, but instead let it motivate you. Big smiles for me, because here come BIG THINGS, yeah a big belly LOST that is.
Wish me luck and support, and I hope you are all doing well also.

Very sweet of you to offer her some help!
and even better that the situation gave you some motivation to kick butt! Sometimes it takes seeing others and their dedicated sweat to give you that little push!0 -
Yay, there are good people out there!!
A little off the topic but the other day was at the grocery store and had a mega dizzy spell (not sure why) but it was bad enough that I sat down in the middle of the aisle b/c I was sure if I didn't I was gonna pass out . Had 3 people walk right past me without asking if I was ok, not that they could have really done anything but still!!0 -
Yeah, but still, wouldn't hurry to just ask and check you. Oh people0
