So for the past week, I've been eating 1200 calories or less daily and I've been aiming for 30-45 minutes of cardio each day. Anyone have any suggestions/advice on how to lose the weight? My goal is 50-60 lbs by June. Would love to hear what has worked for other people!

    Eat more.

1200 is the floor that MFP gives when calculating calories. When a user gets that amount it is due to one of two reasons.

    1. The user is abnormally short
    2. The user's weekly weight loss goals are too aggressive.

    Standard advice:

    1. Let MFP calculate at 1 pound a week using an activity level that does NOT include your exercise.
    2. Manually set MFP goals to place protein at 30%.
    3. Log your exercise and eat back half the calories you get from it.

More specialized advice requires more details about what exercises you do, your age, current weight, goal weight, details of your lifestyle that may affect weight loss and food consumption, etc.

Cutting back on cardio, adding weights and more strength/resistance training to my exercise, and eating more than 1200 calories a day helped me!

A good balance of strength & cardio with enough food to fuel my daily activities and my workouts has been key. This topic helped me: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12
