I'm curious to know what's topping the Santa lists this year.
My kids are 17, 16, 16, 14, and 12 so I am a few years removed (thank God) from the frenzied dashes to umpteen toy stores to find THE hottest toy of the year.
My 12 year old - who has some pretty involved special needs - usually gets very impatient with the whole gift frenzy so he gets one new book then goes back to bed to read it. He usually finishes unwrapping his Christmas gifts the following October.
And this year my older teens just want money. bor-ing!
So indulge my shopper side and tell me what your small people are begging for this year.

My kids don't believe in Santa. We were walking by the mall Santa the other day. My 4 year old and 3 year old were both excited to see him, but my 3 year old turned to me and goes "Santa is fun mommy, but he's just buh-tend" and my 4 year old goes "Shh, Bubba! Those kids don't know that".
The only thing my son wants is a new car seat. A green and black Graco My Ride 65 LX to be exact. We can't get him to tell us anything else he wants, but we've gotten him stuff that goes with the beloved toys he already has. And more clothes bc he just outgrew all of his.
My daughter wants anything and everything princess, jewelry, girly frou frou stuff.
Luckily they're fairly simple.0 -
We are thinking that our daughter will be asking us about the "real" factor after this year.
She has decided because the big man is magic, he can deliver her only reques - Pixie Dust.
I have bought a cute heart shaped jar, with a cork lid and am going to paint the inside with pink glitter glue, and glue the cork in place so it can't be opened. That is her santa gift, and some small trinkets and treats in her stocking.
Her little brother is 4 and he wants anything boy-toy-esque. Transformers, RC cars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers etc.0
