What's your problem and what will you do about it?

I've been reading posts and a lot of people say since their weight gain, or previous relationships, and other factors, they have lost their self-esteem, self-confidence, not realizing their self worth, they're shy, and the list can go on and I'm curious to HOW are you planning to change whatever problem you have about yourself? I'm sure losing the weight will help plenty, but it may not solve everything and you may still have those underlying issues

People say they are working on themselves and hence the weight loss (minus health problems), being single, ect but I fail to see anyone mentioning HOW they plan on changing themselves in these other aspects

I'll admit, I have some issues of my own and I'm looking for ideas to solving them

    Rabbinehall -

I have a problem communicating with my 13 year old (gulp) daughter. (In truth, most of the time its like she's from another planet). My plan is to try to spend time with her and talk about things she deals with in everyday life. No lessons, no "When I was your age". Just chit chat. And just a few minutes per day.

I also have a problem, as I'm known as the neighborhood grouch. Regardless of how uninteresting, shallow and affected these nice folks are (see how I got the title?!?!), I plan on being more considerate and a better listener.

My biggest problem is that I'm way too good-lookin. But I'll save that problem for another day.
