Counting in Exercise Calories on your Daily Total!

Example:
GOAL 1200
FOOD 0
EXERCISE 500
NET -500
REMAINING 1700
To lose weight, do you consume the total 1700 calories or 1200? And if 1200, my REMAINING should read 500 at the END OF THE DAY!
I NEED HELP WITH THIS, PLEASE! i HAVE 30 LBS TO LOSE!

If your activity level is set to sedentary, then you should eat your exercise calories back. Even if you are set to lightly active, you should at least eat some or most of them. I'm no expert, but you need energy...calories are energy. When you initially set up your profile a deficit was added in to lose the number of pounds per week you selected so if you burn additional calories, you can eat them back and still lose weight.0

The 1200 already reduces you the 500 you need to lose weight. You need to eat the calories you earned from exercise or you will have health/energy issues.0
