Pomegranate... the "perfect" food

Pomegranate... the "perfect" food. I know what youre thinking... :noway:
At least to me it is....
It takes me about an hour to break it open and get out all the seeds as I work
at my desk. I have to do it slow so I wont be messy.
There are many seed demons in the fruit waiting to squirt "good luck getting that out" juice on me.
So with patience i cautiously peel my fruit.
Its perfect also in the sense that it forces me to eat slow.
There is no way to wolf down a pomegranate.
Trust me.... I would have figured it out if there was. :drinker:
And it also teaches me portion control because by the time I get it peeled, consumed and cleaned up...
I dont want another.
Them being delicious also doesnt hurt!

Really... pizza should come in pomegranate form.
What a perfect world it would be

Best way to cut and open without a mess and takes less time before you can eat it.

This is how I do them, and they are super easy. I then can put all the seeds in a container and take them to work to eat. They are yummy!!

Pomegranate isn't bacon. Your argument is invalid.

I live in Canada... Our grocery store here has a "pomegranate tool" (it only costs about $5) that gets the seeds out in less than 2 min. Its so simple!
I LOVE pomegranates but never ate them because of all the work. Now I have them all the time.

It's very similar to this product.

my boyfriend can de-seed an entire pomegranate in 10 minutes, no mess.
I've only ever seen him do it, so I thought it would be easy enough for me to give a try....
Needless to say I ended up with Pomegranate blood. Everywhere. All over me D; THE HORROR.

Sometimes it's easier to peel it underwater in a bowl. I do that sometimes!
