Getting Gastric Bypass- Has anyone else got this?

I am due to get the gastric by pass in a few months and i just wanted to hear from others who have had this as well. I am 5'7 and 260. Thank God i dont have any health problems from being this heavey, but it is a yet. I have been deciding for a year now to do this and the time is getting close. The thing i am most afraid of is having dumping alot. I hate getting sick, so i was just wondering does this happen alot or all the time or just when you eat to much or to many sugars? I have been up and down my whole life as far as weight is concerend and i want it to stop and this seems like the way to do it because even though alot of people feel this is an easy way out, i politely disagree because i feel that it forces one to continue with the life changes needed to keep the weight off.
