Cake Batter Protein Shake

I'm a huge fan of protein shakes and am always looking for new recipes to mix things up. Found this recipe this morning on www.dashingdish.com/recipe/cake-batter-protein-shake/ and it is sooo good! Would be especially great for someone who doesn't really like the taste of protein powder and enjoys shakes that mask the powder taste. My Dad even thought this was yummy and he avoids health foods like the plague!


Ingredients:

1/2 cup Low fat cottage cheese
1 Scoop vanilla protein powder
3-5 Drops butter or almond extract
1 tbs. Vanilla sugar free instant pudding mix
3-5 Stevia packets (or sweetener of choice to taste)
1/2 - 1 cup Water (Alter this according to desired consistency)
5-10 Ice Cubes (Depending on how thick you like it, use less for a thinner consistency)

187 Calories
2g Fat
5g Carbohydrates
3g Sugar
35g Protein


(Recipe creator and I both used Designer Whey Vanilla Protein powder, but you can sub in your own)

    There's actually a cake batter protein powder for sale by Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey that I use and its awesome. Mixed with whatever milk you drink, tastesdelicious.
