This is my journey...

In July I decided to start my journey to a new me. I said that I was going to journey to a new lifestyle change. So, I started my diet. I have been working really hard on my journey and sometimes it's really hard. Some days I find myself binge and going as much as 70-80 calories over in one day. It's only because I crave the bad food, like carbs, so bad. I know they aren't good for me, I know that they will make me fatter, so I work really hard not to eat them. I have to keep telling myself:
"Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. "
Over and over again.
I can do this though, this is my journey. I've had several NSV's along the way, so that helps. But some days, I weight myself and see the number go up on the scale and I just want to quit. This is a hard journey, but it's my journey.
I really want to loose more weight. This is my journey and I will succeed.
I can do this. And so can you!!! I want you to know that MFP...you CAN do this. You can succeed on your very own journey to loose the weight and get healthy!! You can make that lifestyle change!

I started at 270 and am now at 236.

I am so heartfeltedly thankful that you posted this. Your honesty is truly transparent. I hope I can be as successful on my journey as you have had in yours thus far! I will keep on working for my dream thigh gap.. Never give up!!! You are an inspiration! :drinker:0

Don't worry when the number on the scale goes up. It's water weight. And when you go over by 70-80 calories a day try to make up for it by running for an hour. That should keep your weightloss on track.0
