Your diary is locked. You look pretty slim from the photo ...0
-
oops sorry about that, should be unlocked now ^_^0
-
How tall are you?
you eat like I did in high school when I had disordered eating.0 -
I only found two days logged, but they are way too low calorie.0
-
You need to eat more. You don't have a lot of weight to lose, set your goals to either 0.5lb or 1lb/week, and eat all your calories.
Other than increasing quantity, it's looking okay - protein and veggies. But yeah, eat more.0 -
What do you want to know exactly? You're 18 years old and you didn't even hit 800 calories the other day. you need to eat more, alot more. Have you figured out what your BMR and TDEE are? You're without a doubt eating below both of them by a lot. You just joined this month, I'm guessing since you've logged only 2 days that's when you joined?
Edited cause I can't spell0 -
It looks healthy but I don't think you have to log sugar free gum.0
-
lift weights, and double what you been eating ;-) who wants to be skinny when they can be badass!0

^ This.
I figured a 5'10 guy 145 pounds age 18 in a BMR calculator and sedentary....came back with calorie goal of 1719 calories daily.0 -

How is what's logged healthy? Fruits? Veggies? Lean proteins?
He's subsisting off of grains, sugar free gum, and protein shakes. oh, i see some beans in the day before....
and seriously WAY too few calories.0 -
Whoa...
Dude, you really need to eat more. Seriously.
Eat. More.
Now while it's not my place to judge or make comments like this, just reading a previous poster mention "disordered eating" makes me wonder if something's going on here. Dude, you logged sugar free gum. Gum. Seriously?
You should at least be eating 1800, IMO. Minimum. I'm around the same age as you and am eating between 2200 and 2800... and I'm pretty I'm shorter than you.0 -
I'm 5'11, I have a hard time eating more, I'm just never hungry or I get distracted0

You are eating way to few calories for your age and height. And you don't need to lose weight at your current set weight and height.
If worried about what you look like, protein and weight lifting to change body composition.
And if you get distracted to the point you don't eat, you need to be eating better quality, more calorie dense foods.0 -

well, if you're focusing on losing weight (for whatever reason), I would make eating more a priority. It isn't just the number of calories, but the quality of them.. and the workouts that you're getting in.
Eat more. Make that your priority.0 -

Um... Then why is your calorie gal set so low?
I'm 5'5 (I think, whatever 165cm is) and eat probably twice as much as you do - hell, the Primary School I sub in has eight year olds that eat more than you do. Something's wrong there.0 -

I went by what would be healthy for me, just realised my mistake. Of course there's a difference between a 5'4 girl and a 5'11 guy. 1400 calories would be perfectly healthy for me, of course it's too low for a guy.0 -

What do you mean by calorie dense? 300 cals in one sitting's pretty dense right?0

Something like nuts, rice, etc. Foods that have high amounts of calories in small portions; you can eat them and not feel full.
And 300 cals in one sitting is... Hm, more like a snack than anything. That's roughly two handfuls of almonds. Add a couple of those into your day to up your cals.0 -
Almonds are high in fat though right? That's not so good I thought0
-
You also seem to be drinking too much water. Stick to 8-10 glasses per day. You are eating so little that with that amount of water flushing through your system you will be washing out essential nutrients before they have time to be absorbed0

Nuts and seeds have good fats0 -

Yep. They are. Nothing wrong with that, though. Fat's good for you - seriously, the whole "fat is evil" and "fat will make you fat" BS was killed years ago.
Don't overanalyse these things, dude. Just eat. It's fun.0 -
Myfitnesspal gave me the calorie estimate so I think I'll trust it I was eating way less before like 250-500 calories so it can't get any worse eh?0
-
My question is, assuming your picture is current, why are you trying to lose 25 pounds?0
-

250 Calories a day? That, my dear boy is disordered eating. and NOT healthy. You need to seek professional help or consult a DR about nutrition and the right kind of diet for you.0 -

...wut?
Yeah... It can get worse, actually. Why do I think this? Let's see.
I notice you snack a lot. Particularly on gum. I'm pretty sure the reason for this is because you're starving yourself, and your body is screaming for food. One day you're probably gonna end up going normally with your "diet", as usual, and then you'll snap and eat everything in sight. A binge. Odds are - if you have an ED, which I'm now starting to suspect you do (logging gum cals/having previously eaten so little/setting your current cal goal to be that of someone half your height and weight) - you'll end up purging too. Or you'll restrict and not eat for a week. And then it'll happen all over again.
You don't want that. Trust me.
Sure, I might be pushing it here, but I've got a friend who suffers from ED, and believe me - it's not worth it. Just eat. There's no profit in being skinny, take my word on it. You look gaunt enough; you'll be all bones, no muscle at 130lbs.
I'm also gonna guess you've lost alot of weight recently, perhaps because you felt bad about yourself before? Just another guess. But you need to stop now. Before it becomes obsessive, and before it takes over your life.0 -
I dieted for about 3 months and lost just over 67lbs, I was 227lbs before, all I need is remembering that and my cravings go away and I tried the binge thing ended up throwing up lol so don't think I'll be doing that again0
-
Also if I don't drink enough water I thought you had too much sodium which caused water retention?0
