So Monday and yesterday were great but this morning I just felt like crap:sick: . I was tired and what ever I eat I feel sick. When I began my exercise I became physically Ill and had to stop, I am also feeling sick after taking my meds the last couple days. I will address the meds with my doc but my family seems to think the sickness with exercise and diet is my body more or less adjusting to something new. What do you all think?

I think you are right. If your body isnt used to exercise and good foods it can react in many different ways. Just make sure you are eating enough calories and dont give up! Your body will get used to it soon. Good luck!0

Are you eating enough carbs? I'm asking because carbs are the fuel that runs your body...they're your key source of energy for your muscles and brain. According to csun.edu, "They help protect the body against ketosis, an undesirable condition that gives feelings of weakness, nausea, dehydration. Ketosis also creates an acid load that is harmful to the body." Maybe this describes why you're feeling so crappy?
Make sure you're eating the right kind of carbs. You need to eat complex carbs and refrain from simple sugars. Complex carbs include vegetables, whole grain breads, oatmeal, legumes, brown rice and wheat pasta whereas simple sugars are white bread, table sugar, fruit juice, milk, yogurt, honey, molasses, maple syrup and brown sugar.
Protein is important as well. It helps develop a healthy immune system and has many other benefits.
So! Carbs, Carbs, Carbs in the Complex form. I like 12 grain whole wheat bread...so grainy that I can taste twigs, nuts, roots, tubers, and dirt. It's yummy!
Good Luck!

I guess I'd have to ask when this all started. How long have you been dieting with an exercise plan. If you're body is adjusting to a new level of you then most certainly discuss this with your doctor because he or she may have to adjust the strength up or down depending on your physical reactions.
While you're waiting for your doctor's appointment to come up follow Helawat's direction and look at your entire food consumption plan and make sure you have one that's balanced across the board. Discuss this with your doctor as well.
The problem is that none of us are physicians, at least no one has said so, and what we provide as feedback, like family, is based on what we know from our own personal perspective.
Hang in there. Stick to the diet back down on the exercise (slower pace, shorter duration) and let us know what the doctor says. Bob :flowerforyou:0
