Hey guys!
How do you count the facts for marinades? Like, tonight we're having beer baked pork chops. I know it's not the BEST thing, but you know.
Anywho.... The chops marinated in beer for four hours and are now cooking in beer, also... So, I used three bottles of beer; do i need to calculate the nutri info for three beers??
Thoughts?
Thanks!
-Megan
*edit: hmm.. I think I dug up an answer.

If measure what is left after you marinate, you'll have what was absorbed. I'd use that number.
For example:
You use 3 12oz beers and have 10 ounces left --> 36 (3x12oz) - 10 remaining = 26 absorbed.0 -
that is great! thanks so much! I never would have thought of it that way!0

I've been wondering this also, but always just calculated all the calories in the marinade. Great idea mvl. Love it!0
