Hi there - I've recently started doing a 'bootcamp' at my local gym, and came across this site, which is provided some extra motivation for me. I'm turning 40 this year, and my aim is to be below 60kgs (132lb) when I do. I don't think I have been less than 60kg since I was a teenager - at only 5ft tall, I should be between 110 and 132lb.
So I welcome any tips, motivation or help of any kind to keep me on track! I'm down a few pounds already. I've been here before, and I know that the first couple of weeks are the easy part... keeping on track in the challenge...
Any other Kiwis on here?? Heather

Kiwi here, just put this onto my iPhone and I am looking to lose 30kg but this is more of a long term thing with hopefully a significant chunk within the next 5 months.
Anyway, I hope it all goes well for you.0 -
Hi, Heather.
I'm also in NZ, and I've found MFP to be a very useful tool to keep track. Better than the notebook and calculator approach I'd used in the last year and a half. I guess what has changed since starting here is that I'm exercising more regularly now
Good luck!0
