Mind Shift - Winter Running

I've been sitting on the couch under my blanket trying to keep warm for the past week while the snow piled up, got rained away, and piled up again (also nursing a terrible cold). All this time I was feeling very demotivated about continuing running and thinking of how cold my poor feet would get. Today I got up and walked my kids to school all decked out in my snow pants, etc. and was actually warm walking home. It then occurred to me that I used to cross country ski three times a week all winter when I was a teenager. If I can ski outside and not freeze my toes then I can run. Or I could just switch to skiing until spring
