The Grinch Challenge

It's that time of year, The Grinch is on every week on one station or another, and most of us can quote a portion (or all) of it.

Last night, as a challenge, I vowed to do 5 reps of squats, lunges, push-ups, crunches, or a 30 second plank...EVERY TIME a Who or the Grinch said the word "Christmas"

Success! I'm quite sore this morning, never will watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas... ever again, and I fear that if I met Cindy Lou on the street, I'd murder her and stuff her in a dumpster :)

Give it a try next time you see it on TV, let me know how it goes for you. by the time they start singing Fah who for-aze! Dah who dor-aze!...(13 'Christmases' in that little tune) You'll be a Who murderer too :)

Did you do this to the cartoon (half hour) version or the full length movie (Jim Carey)? Makes a huge difference in the challenge I'd say - cartoon version could be a "mini chalenge" full length movie the big challenge
Either way count me in! Sounds fun and I've seen them both sooo many times LOL
  • ohh lord, this sounds hard. I've been wanting to watch this movie, but not so sure now, after seeing this challenge.

it was the 2 hour Jim Carey special....but even the 30 minute one would be tough will all the songs

This sounds like fun! Not sure if I have The Grinch on DVD or not, but I'll see if I can borrow it from someone. :-)

I'm sure it'll work for just about any Christmas movie, use 'Rudolph' or 'Santa' as your work-out word if necessary.
