Higher protien lower carbs.

Hey everyone, I am searching for a snack that is higher in protien that carbs. I have been searching my whole house lol. Help a girl out with suggestions?

  • I generally go for a few slices of turkey or Chicken breast so carbs and lots of protein :) I'll usually have some cucumber slices with it and hummus

    Meat, nuts, dairy, and eggs are all good sources of protein. I like to snack on low fat string cheese, beef jerky, and tuna. These are my go to snacks for quick protein.

    Plain greek yogurt is a life saver. Most cups have 100-150 calories, no or little fat, low carbs (usually 7-10g), high protein (mid-teens), and it comes in a portable, easy to use cup and is decently filling.

    Beware the flavored versions, you're tripling your carbs in those usually.

    Thanks guys but I'm just trying to find new ones besides the obvious ones that you are all mentioning. I eat greek yogurt almost daily, same with whey protien powder. :)
