well I know this weekend is not going to go well. its valentines day. I am taking my boyfrined out for breakfast on sunday. And then he will be taking me to dinner. Im making him fudge but Im not worried about that because Im not a big fan. But the weekends are alwayyssss my downfall. I think we're going out to dinner tonight to this italian place which they do not have a nutrional part of the menu so i have no idea how many calories im consuming. I get a past dish that has scollops, shirmp, loster, and clams in it which i love and I eat all the seafood but never all the pasta. But the pasta comes with this like whine oily sauce which pretty much just coats the pasta so im not sure if its too too bad. But i dunno. ugh

Do a HUGE workout today and then enjoy yourself. Get back into the swing of things Monday. One weekend doesn't have to define your life, and success isn't measured by your ability to deprive yourself. Valentine's day is a day of indulgence, so enjoy it. Have fun!0

I think on this one occasion you have to say what the heck and really enjoy it, back on track on Monday!
I am sure it will be ok, life is for living, enjoying food and having fun!
Hope you have a good time xxx

Most restaurants have SOMETHING healthy on the menu, even if it's just salmon with mashed potatoes or pasta. Go ahead and ask to have the fish grilled with just lemon and herbs, or steamed veggies on the side instead of starchy potatoes. Also, red tomato sauces are super healthy. Lots of family restaurants make their own fresh red sauce, so the sodium is much lower than the tinned stuff we eat at home.
Manage your calories. If you splurge on a big helping of pasta marinara, skip the wine and desert in favor of water or plain tea. If you order fish and steamed veggies, go ahead and have a glass of white wine. Balance will keep you from feeling deprived. Squeeze in 30 minutes of yoga before you do your hair and makeup if you feel like you're going to go over your calories; you'll be less worried about destroying your nutrition goals, and the gentle exercise increases blood flow, which makes your skin look flushed and healthy for the evening out, lol!
Ignore the size of the plate, too. Restaurants have HUGE plates these days. Portion out with your eyes how much food you think is reasonable and push the rest to the side--you can take it home for lunch. I don't know about Mass, but this is sooo common in New York that your server won't bat an eye if you ask for a take-out box before you start eating.
Good luck, and enjoy yourself!0 -
