Low fat, high calorie/protein (raw) food?

I've only been tracking my diet 2 days, but I can already see a trend - before I even get close to my recommended calorie intake, I'm already over in fat. Things like avocados, veggie and fruit oils, nuts, etc, are an essential part of my diet (in addition to making my hair soft and shiny!), so I can't give them up. But for example, today I have 170 calories, 48g carbs, and 13g protein "left" to use at the end of the day but I'm already 8g over in fat. I know fruit would fit the bill, but I was hoping for something with a little more protein. Any other raw foods you guys can think of that are low in fat but high in protein?

The fats from avocados and nuts are mono, which are GOOD for you. All fats are not bad for you, trans fat is what you should stay away from. Fat from natural sources is an excellent source of energy. And dont worry as much about macros, caloric deficit is what you are worried about, and if you have your weight loss set to 1lb a week MFP already has you at a 500 cal deficit, so if you eat 1-400 cal over you are still at a deficit!

No idea about raw protiens, I am a meat eater muahaha

I have also gone over on my fat content, as I am doing Paleo which is filled with certain foods, like the ones you have listed. I don't think its nothing to be to over concerned about as they are the right type of fats, and not the bad ones.

eat more fat. it's good and good for you.
  • I have found the same thing. Use this as a rough guide only!

Green leafy veg like cabbage is high in protein, as is bananas...I know, wierd right! This site is set up for a standard diet so it's only useful as a rough guide.

Beans or pulses would give you protein with carbs but little fat.

I went to look but you are not tracking it. What is your fat target for the day? Should be set around .35 to .4 grams per lb of body weight.
