is it about what you're eating or the calories?

I was wondering this today, because my mom is making pizza for dinner.
I know her pizza is more healthy than pizza from Domino's or Papa John's, but it's still pizza.

at the end of the day, does it matter where my calories came from or does it just matter that I was under/met my goal?

    To lose weight AND be healthy: it is about the calories AND where they come from
  • I think that there are different 'kind' of calories, I mean, it isn't the same 1500 calories from fries than chicken :).

    If your calorie intake is below goal and you haven't ate too much sugar or carbs I think you should be ok.

    Most importantly, pizza =/= bad.

    As long as you are in a deficit, you will lose weight.
