HI everyone: saw this video on the TED web site today and thought it was a terrific message. It's from a 93 year old fellow who lifts weights and rows. He literally looks 25 years younger!

For those of us 50 and over ... and for those who are just beginning their fitness journey, give this video a look. It should inspire everyone to do all they can to stay active and healthy!

Jeff

I love these stories about older athletes.....it gives me some hope! (and strength training is critical for men over 40 if we want to maintain our lean muscle mass)

Another inspiring character is Ed Whitlock. 82 years old and ran a 3:30 marathon in Toronto this year.
  • It's great stuff, isn't it?! I'll look up Ed Whitlock's story - sounds awesome! I've never run a marathon - or considered it seriously.
