It's up to you but whatever you do, stay consistent with it. If you choose to log it as the day before then make sure you have alotted some calories for that. Or you can choose to log it the next day and just add on as the next day progresses. Up to you, just be consistent. Personally, if it's past 2am, I log it as the next day.0

I work late nights and don't get home till 3 or 4 am and have my first meal of the day then and wait a couple of hours and then sleep.. I log it as my breakfast of the new day.0

Since you are doing this frequently, you should probably keep consistent. When I have the occasional late night snack, I will decide what day to log it based on my calorie totals for the day. If the snack would bring me over, then I log it as the next day so that I force myself to behave the next day. If I still have space for the previous day, then I log it as the previous day because those remaining calories are still mine to consume.0

I plan my eating way in advance so I actually log the whole day before I eat a single bite. This is the only way that i know how to cut off. Maybe this could work for you, plan and log your snacks up until 12 midnight early on in the day.0

My friends call me a vampire so I understand the odd sleeping hours..I also work strange hours..so to keep it simple everything after 12 is a new day.0

I keep strange hours, I just log everything before my main sleep as he old day, and everything after my sleep as the new day.0

I look at it as until I go to bed, it's the same day.0
