Tip For Fighting Cravings

So what happens when you're hungry and you're suddenly craving your favorite dish that's unfortuantely over your calorie budget, but it's what your mouth has the taste for at the moment? If you're like me, you probably go ahead and eat it, go over, and kick yourself inside....

But I came up with this trick to fight off cravings. I don't know if it might work for everybody, but it doesn't hurt to try! It certainly helped me!

Y'know how when you're upset over something and writing it down on paper helps you feel better? Same thing! Make a list of all the junky and high calorie foods your mouth is watering for. Go ahead and write down every single food you would stuff your face in if you weren't trying to watch what you eat. By doing this, rather than trying to resist and block it only to have it scratch the door to your mind to come in, your full attention is on that food(s). Once you're finished writing everything down, the cravings have hopefully subsided.
