Slow Losers

Anyone else in the slow to lose weight club? I think at most I lose 2 lbs a month, maybe 1. I've lost 10 and I am shooting for at least another 10-15 and progress is so slow. I work out five days a week for 60 minutes each day, I eat calories at BMR and I eat back exercise calories. Usually reading success stories is so inspiring but at times it is discouraging when it seems like I am losing at a much, much slower rate than anyone else :(

I lose slow too. Like you, I'm averaging about 1 lb./month since April this year. As long as you're losing and making changes you can live with and stick to, then that's success IMO. Slow & steady, right? :)
  • I figure the up-side is that if I lose slowly it will be easier to keep it off and maintain. And I know it is not a race, really. This is a permanent life change for me...yet at the same time I just want to be there now.

it happens to the best of us. I've been stuck at my current weight for the past 5 months and I've changed my workouts to 6 times a week and I still have yet to see any changes. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it does make me wonder what's going on wih my body.
