I know a lot of people who track daily their calories but I'd like to know anyone who does it weekly? What's the average calorie. Intake weekly for losers and maintainers ? Can four days of low cal eating and three of eating way over the limit eventually still lead to weight loss?

I have lost most of my weight (50 lbs before MFP and 53 since) going by my weekly average. Yes, it works! I just take my daily allowance times 7 and aim for that number by the end of the week.0

I track daily, weekly and monthly, but pay the most attention to my weekly numbers.
If, at the end of the week, your total cals is where it should be, then you should be fine. 4 days of being slightly under is likely to be outdone by 3 days of being way over. But if you're under by 300 for 4 days and over by 300 for 3 days, you'll be fine.
