Hi All,
A small success but I'm on top of the world
I only started running in August (Have NEVER run before properly) and started to like it. Managed 5k for the first time just over a week ago.
Today, my fiancé needed to borrow my car as his was broken and he works miles away, so I decided to run home and took my running gear. Bear in mind I live in Northern England - temperature was icy, hailstones at one point, dark, raining when it wasn't hailing etc. I ran the full 3.94 miles! Had to stop for traffic lights a few times, total was 42.30 mins / 10.43 min per mile. Not the fastest admittedly, but I did it. I loved it and I'm so frickin' proud of myself right now.
Sorry for waffling, just had to share how amazing I feel. I've posted this everywhere I'm so proud. (And a total geek, I know  )

I can honestly say I would never plan to run home as my means of transportation ( although I have walked
) You must be really motivated. Well done!
