What type of underwear???

This Friday past I ran the Electric Run 5K with some friends. I get a frantic call for a friend who had never run a 5K about what kind of underwear to wear. :huh: <<that was me. I told her I only wear thongs so I wear thongs to run. She seemed shocked. I didn't ask what kind she ended up wearing.

Sooooo....what kind of underwear do you wear to run 5K, 7K, 12K, marathons..etc.?

    I thought about not wearing any but some protection from the mud is better than none.

    I've asked posed this question to other ladies I know, asking what type of underwear to wear to the gym or while running. The most common answer was thong also!! I've since run in thongs and find it surprisingly comfortable...

    Mine came due to dance though, less likely to see a thong under a leotard.

    I was taught in dance to not wear any underwear, my daughters currently told the same.

    underwear creates lines and the leotard is lined for a reason.

    Guess you learn something everyday. I always make my girls wear underwear under their leotards.

    I wear black boyshorts under all my spandex. I don't understand how anyone goes pantyless. I probably work out MUCH harder than most, so I sweat way more...I am literally dripping sweat from every inch of my body, and my clothes are dripping they are so wet. I couldn't imagine NOT having that little bit more of cloth down there to hold the sweat.

    I was taught that too but I preferred wearing thongs under and still no lines.
