Struggle with some, heres one

Some times the things I eat, I really struggle to get numbers to write down etc
For example, What I just ate right now.. I have no idea how many calories it was.

I know it was quite healthy. Contained mostly protein 70% perhaps. 15% carbs and 15% fat..

My dad made it. Minced Beef in the Pan, threw in some red onions, sweetcorns, mushrooms and peppers.
I just ate the left overs, which was about a 1/4 of the pan.

How am I meant to measure that? :P

Duno where to start heh

Most packs of beef are in bits of kilos in the UK so he'll have most likely used at the very least half a kilo... then to be honest I would allow 100g of Generic Mixed Veg per portion... create a recipe and whack the half kilo of beef, about 3-400 g of generic mixed veg, allow for some cooking oil... say it was to serve 4 people... voila!

Measure what you put in the pan and use the recipe tool to calculate calories in the dish.

Best way is to input each individual ingredient, i.e. ground beef, red pepper, oil, salt, etc(whatever they may be). You should be able to guestimate the serving size and it will be very close on your calorie content.

Go back and look at the packet that that the minced beef came in ...I am guessing 200 grams...go check it out on your diary add all the other bits and pieces of food.

Divide it between who ever ate it and voila you got it...

if you want to log everything then thats the way to go...and sounds yummy I had something similar for dinner

We don't get to see your recipes, but it sounds like you've got the right idea. The recipe tool is super handy!
