I have recently commited back to the gym constantly. I feel much better all around but I am finding I'm not hungry and therefore not eating as much as I should. This is especially when I do cardio like Spin classes. I'm trying to eat around 1200-1350 calories a day. I tend to be under since I have started exercise.. This is a strange concept for me since I have struggled with binge eating in the past. Should I force myself to eat if I'm hungry? I am scared to do this because of my past binging behavior. Or is this temporary and i will start to feel hungry again?

If your past history of binge eating is weight related, in other words, if you have been under eating to lose weight, then you'll probably start binge eating again. Take a look at what your eating and if your restricting foods you like when your dieting, then you probably need to fix that and eat a reasonable amount of the foods you like. Basically increase your calories and eat foods you enjoy, kick the diet food to the curb.....if your eating pattern is more enjoyable, you may not binge eat, but then again if binge eating is psychological, that tactic probably won't work.0

I'm not restricting myself at all. I've gone/currently going to councelling for the binge eating which is under control.. When I used to never get satisfied by food which I've worked on. It's not that I'm hungry and not eating its that I'm not that hungry at all. For example yesterday I had my oatmeal and a hard boiled egg for breakfast, an apple for snack, then didn't feel that hungry until 4 when I ate healthy Shepards pie leftovers with a salad. That was it I wasn't hungry. So I guess do I eat I I'm not feeling hungry?0
