Well I have been losing weight since october and for the first time in 4 months the last 3 days I have been so hungry!!!! I did go over my calories the last 3 days but not above 1500 calories. Today I seem fine and will get right back to it today. I guess I just needed to cheat a little? I hope today goes well. I have been so good and really have been doing what I am suppose to do. Does anyone eles have this problem every now and then? Thanks for letting me vent.

When I have days like this I find it helps me if I drink LOTS of water. I don't feel as hungry if my stomach is full of water. The only downside is that I find myself running to the bathroom all day.....
  • I usually have this problem when it close to my TOM...but it usually subsides within a day or two. You seem to be doing great just don't let those days become to frequent.......Good Luck!!!

When I have that problem, sometimes I just NEED to eat some extra calories. But sometimes it's due to what I've been eating. I'll be staying within my calories but eating less fruits/veggies and more processed carbs. So you might want to take a look at your diet, try to add an extra serving of veggies and fruits here and there.
  • I'm guessing that even at 1500 calories you are still running a deficit for the day so I would worry next to nothing about those days. In fact, your metabolism might have just had a shot in the arm those few days and you were probably burning more calories as well.

Listen to your body, within reason. If you were going 1200 calories a day and all of a sudden your body starts "needing" 1400-1500 calories that isn't necessarily a bad thing, it could mean that your metabolism is "speeding up".

You know your body better than anyone, so if you are still losing fat and your body continues this "ravenous" state, don't sweat it. If you continue to get hungrier and hungrier and put on weight then I would make some changes.
