This looks like an amazing product. How well do those of you who have it like it? What activities if any does it have trouble tracking?
Thanks in advance!

I had one. It was a nice device until it stopped holding a charge. I was able to send it back to Nike for a refund. The only thing I wasn't able to track was biking or anything stationary like that. I really liked it and it pushed me to move to meet my goal everyday but I was disappointed that it stopped working and killed my streak. I now have a Fitbit and it's a great little device but has some of the same limitations as the Fuelband as far as tracking biking, etc. I kind of wish I saw this device last week before I bought a HRM to accurately track my fitness. I haven't seen any reviews on it yet but seems to sync well with MFP:

Here are all of the apps that sync with MFP if you are looking to go that route:

I think it looks cool (Nike has some amazing Marketing folks!) But I have a BodyMedia Fit and I really like this and the idea is similar as the fuel band - and it links with MFP which is great and tracks sleep, cals burned and steps etc - check that out0

I have the original black one. I wear it all my waking hours. I lose clip on anything, and I want to track all my actiity as I have a sedentary desk job. I have maybe 30 minutes every morning to do yoga and barre 3, and so I try to fit in walking extra steps all day long . My goal is to have a more active lifestyle and to keep moving all day long.
I haven't had any problems with mine. /syncs to my iPhone via bluetooth, and I like the way it looks on my wrist.0 -
Thanks so much for your info. I will certainly do more research!0

I like my Fuelband a lot but you have to understand its limitations such as the inability to be used while swimming or biking. I look at the Fuelband as a tool to help me with my everyday goals. The web interface is good the iPhone interface is good the iPad interface is bad (basically the iPhone app that you can enlarge to fir the iPad). The Fuelband also has a geeky cool factor to it as well...
Thats just my 2 cents.0 -
I have one and admit I bought it for the "cool factor" . If you're looking for something that's accurate it is not. It works off an accelerometer (wrist motion) so any activities you do such as cycling or weightlifting it's not going to be able to track due to the lack of motion. Steps seem to be somewhat accurate, but calories are grossly inaccurate (I think it said I burned like 500 calories yesterday, even though I lifted weights for an hour?)0

I love mine but I don't depend on it to be accurate, but it a BIG motivation tool for me.
If it died today I would buy another one, it's a constant reminder for me to exercise.

It looks cool too, I'm wearing mine in this picture.0
