CHEAT day?

Okay guys! I have a really special day coming up; It is my best friends birthday on Sunday. We decided that we would go to Pickle Barrel and then go to Menchies (self-serve frozen yogurt shop). I think I eat pretty healthy on most days, at least i try, and was wondering if it was okay if I just didn't care what or how much I ate that day. My friend is usually supportive about my diet although she does miss the side of me that would just eat (she loves her food). It is her birthday and I don't want to limit myself from the experience, especially because this is the first time I will be going to both the Pickle Barrel and Menchies. I want to have the full experience. What do you guys think? My diary is open and I have already logged my day for Sunday so if you guys could check that out I would really appreciate it! Thanks lovelies :)

Oh and does anyone know how many cups of ice cream is in one of the tubs that Munchies provides if I fill it up all the way??

I think it depends on how high you load the yogurt and toppings? I say just go for it! I drive my a Menchies quite often and keep meaning to step in.

Edited to add, that's hardly a 'cheat' day if you're barely over your calories. Don't worry about it!

I was thinking the same thing. My concept of a "cheat day" is WAY different than that of the OP!

I'm glad I re-read your post to see that you logged the dinner already...
You're still under maintenance silly girl!
Under on carbs too, I think your choices are fine and I wouldn't consider those choices a cheat day at ALL.

I must find a make your own yogurt place...>.>

ENJOY! Food is part of life. Go have a great time and then just get back into your old routine afterwards. NO GUILT!

WARNING~ CLICHE MOMENT~ this is a lifestyle not a diet. Life happens and food happens. This is not about sucking the fun out of life and beating yourself up because you aren't on point every second of everyday! Celebrate, eat, have an awesome time, and then the following day enjoy a good workout!

I wouldn't worry about it if you eat healthy most days. Enjoy your day and just pick up where you left off the next.

For me there's no such thing as a "cheat" day.

Last night I decided I wanted a takeaway Pizza, just like I used to with a couple of nice sides and some wine.

I just logged it all and yes, I went over calories (by about 500), but...
    a) That was yesterday and it's the only time I've done it since I started in May
    b) Averaged over the week, I'll still be within my calories
    c) I really enjoyed it - so I'm not going to feel guilty that I somehow "cheated"
