Just hot my Fitbit zip. Below is the steps and than calories for my FB adjustment for this week:

M. 10034. 261
T. 7543. 131
W. 5765. 54
Th. 4184. - 31

This doesn't make sense to me. There dkesnt seem to be any relationship. Am I missing something obvious?

Are you recording activity as well?

(edit) Are you recording fitbit activities on your device?

Actually just realised my self that it does make sense. Forgot I have to allow a basic number of steps as allowed for in the sedentary setting.
Just looked at figures again and using simultaneous equations ( how sad is that) found that approximately

    Number of steps = 19 x calories + 5000

Or calories = (number of steps- 5000)/19

Which means that once I've done 5000 steps I divide the extra number of steps by 19 to work out my calories of my fitbit adjustment which is e tra calories over 1450.

Interesting to know that for me, 5000 is the number of steps I'm expected to do to be sedentary. Not sure if that's the same for everyone.
