Thyroid disease/why am I not losing?

Hi everyone! I hope all is well. I am on a high-protein diet and trying to stay around 1200 calories a day for about the past month. I do have a thyroid disease that is supposedly 'dormant' right now, but i'm seeing my dr next week because for as hard as I'm staying within my 103g+ protein and 1200 calories w/ exercise, I'm not losing 1 pound or 1 inch!

Any advice from looking at my diary or others with thyroid disorders?

thanks so much,
steff

PS. I'm currently 148 lbs, 5'3" and 27 yrs old. I used to be 125 before my thyroid diagnosis and went down to 112 at my worst.

Hi summergirl, I was born without the thyroid gland, even though im on meds I have lots of trouble to keep weight off.. Its a battle thats for sure. Hypothyroid has caused lots of problems & im sure others can relate. Im on wellbutrin SR and I really like it cause I don't have any bad side effects but everyone reacts differen't. Feels like I gotta starve myself in order to lose anything cause I can't eat much withoug gaining weight, which I developed anorexia.. Hang in there! :)
