What are YOU listening to? :)

What music do you like to listen to when you're out and about exercising?

Personally most of the time when I work out, I listen to anything with a fast beat. This can range from "Wait and Bleed" (Slipknot) to "Pocketful of Sunshine" (Natasha Bedingfield) to Bad Apple!! (Nomico [japanese artist])

But then there are days when I'll listen to the most random things ever, like mellow classical piano - Chanson or Moonlight Sonata or Fur Elise.

I'm a bit older than you, so I listen to some stuff that is pretty old school for you. Jane's Addiction, Green Day, an Eric Clapton blues album, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, etc. And then just to mix things up, I have some stuff from the musical Chicago because it has a great beat that helps to keep me going.

One of my favorite workout songs is "Wolf Like Me" by TV on the Radio. It gets me pumped. Also like listening to The Black Keys upbeat songs like "Gold on the Ceiling" and "Howlin for You". Also, Eagles of Death Metal (not death metal) have a lot of upbeat fun songs.

I mostly listen to my mix of records from an underground french ambient electronica label called Ultimae Records. They're the usual soundtrack to my life. Here's a link to their website if anyone's interested in that sort of music:

Girl Talk is usually a safe bet for me because it's mashup work and I usually get such musical ADD when I work out, so I don't need to change it if I have that on. Other than that, I'm all about fast, upbeat stuff. Tends to be a lot of female pop singers and some rap haha.

Nice! I hear ya. I love the classical music too as well as the older jazz, Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck and Duke Ellington, but that is chill music. Not work out music.
