It happens to me and I've heard quite a few other people say they get really cold after hard exercise. I try to jump in a hot shower as soon as I get home and that seems to help. The coughing thing happens to me occasionally if I'm pushing hard and it's cold out. I think I may have a bit of exercise induced asthma but since it doesn't bother me while I'm running I don't worry about it too much. The hot shower seems to help with that a bit too.0

Hot bath works well...I find I am sweaty then go outside when it is cooler and I am freezing...don't know if there is a biological reason or it is that your wet and your body is working to cool you off0

I get that sometimes too, especially if I've been out of exercise for a while and then push really hard. Also when I am really sweaty and come out of the studio at the gym and then the air con, which they can never get just right, hits me hard it is COLD! For me the feeling generally passes after I've been back in the groove for a few weeks so I'm sure if will go soon. Great work on the running, I finished C25K last month and would love to do 10K after Insanity!0

I was told by a marathon runner that happens when you use up pretty much all of your energy to include all the food you ate. He said that is why you see those silver blankets at all marathons, even in the summer.0
