calorie zig-zag

Anyone do this calorie zig-zag thing? Maybe I have been under a rock but this is new to me. Just wondering if anyone has had success with it before I give it a whirl to see if it will boost my weight loss.

Ex: Monday-1800 cal
Tuesday-1800cal
Wednesday-2160 cal
Thursday-1800 cal
Friday-1800 cal
Saturday-1981 cal
Sunday-1800 cal

    calorie cycling is a great way to keep the metabolism from leveling off, change it up alot and that allows for days with eating non-diet sized meals...above is same weekly total calories as you had but more of a zig zag...
