Cheat day question

If you were to have a cheat day and you ordered a pizza would you eat the whole thing, or just some of it?

All of it bud ... or if I do not finish it all, throw away the rest ... normally I get a small papa johns garden fresh @ 875 cals .. or a med. pizza hut pineapple n ham thin crust .. 1400 cals I believe ... enjoy it bud .. it's the sausage, pepperoni, and stuffed crusted that get ya ..0

I'm sure I could conquer the whole thing over a day. Can I order wings and cheesy bread sticks too? Oh..and I need some pie, or monkey bread, or donuts...or...well...a little bit of all of it.0

I can't eat a whole pizza -- maybe 3-4 slices if I'm very hungry.
And for me there's no such thing as a cheat day. I'm doing this for life, and that means eating a little bit of everything at all times, while remaining within my goals for the day.0 -
Oh man the word CHEAT again...whatever happened to flexible eating people?! And no I would not even consume one piece of pizza, only because it gives me belly ache...might scoop the topping off though if it were nice enough... ; )0

i dont feel a need to reward myself for things i should be doing anyway...if i happen to have pizza i will eat what is customary 3-4 slices at best, i will not gorge a whole thing just because0

I wouldn't eat the whole thing. Even if you are doing a "cheat" day you would still want to eat in moderation. I wouldn't go overboard.0

How can we have cheat days if we stay within our cals whatever we eat - surely if eat a whole 1000 cal+ pizza and not much else, thats absolutely fine!!0

I wonder how big a pizza each of you is imagining.
I had a whole, Italian style pizza over the course of today. It was meant to be lunch, but having had 900kcal for breakfast, it wouldn't fit :laugh: I'm guessing it was around 1000kcal (small independent restaurant, so no data).
When I was trying to lose / having a sensible day, I would have 3/4 of a pizza.0 -

Would you eat the whole pizza at once? I couldn't do that, for one my body just wouldn't process it and secondly, I would feel super guilty afterward. Your body doesn't NEED a whole pizza to function, and any comfort/joy you get from eating a whole pizza would be very short lived. But hey if that's what you want to do and your body will handle it then go for it! Now if it was a whole bottle of wine I would consider...0

If you have a true cheat day fitting plan, where the other 6 days are perfect, then the whole thing.
Its just going to be scary as hell for the next 3 days with the water retention, you will think you've ruined all your work! Thats the main problem with cheating with Pizza, it looks worse, then4 - 5 days later you lose a couple good chunks of weight each morning.0 -
I'm 40 so I honestly can't eat an entire pizza anymore. My appetite just isn't what it used to be. If I could, I would on my cheat days.
You're 19 and it looks like you're trying to gain back some solid weight. Eat the whole thing on those cheat days and enjoy every bite! Good luck!
Edit: One other suggestion - make your cheat day your most difficult workout day. You need the fuel anyway. Maybe legs day?0 -
